As a Project Manager, you will partner with the Construction Supervisor and be responsible for project planning and documentation. If you have a passion for excellence, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and experience in residential construction, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Ensure projects are delivered on budget, on time, and at a Thoughtforms level of quality, continually synthesizing and communicating available data/inputs to ensure client decisions are informed by the most current information available.
- Manage and control project finances, including establishing control estimates, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and communicating costs to clients.
- Bid and subcontract work and verify/process subcontractor and vendor invoices.
- Lead and document weekly project coordination meetings with clients, architects, and other project partners.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and regularly communicate progress to clients and internal teams.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Establish strong relationships with co-workers, design team, and clients, ensuring effective collaboration and client satisfaction.
- Maintain Thoughtforms' reputation for excellence by consistently performing at a high level and setting a professional example.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in high-end residential construction.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and an ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other project partners.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.
- Advanced financial management experience, including budgeting and construction software proficiency (e.g., Timberline/Sage, Procore).
- Experience reviewing plans and specifications, both hard copy and digital, and ensuring subcontractor bids are comprehensive and subcontractor billing reflects actual progress.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil or systems engineering, or architecture preferred.
- LEED, PHIUS and PMP certification and Massachusetts Construction Supervisors License are all a plus.
Salary and Benefits:

- Base salary range of $80,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
